Pay System

This probably would have gotten a 10 if the whole pay system wasn't there. Even if the features it brings aren't there.

Ignoring that... one butcher sneaks up on your ass, hits you in the face, half an hour gone because you gotta start over form scratch. That's what I call weak and frustrating gameplay since while playing through normally, I'm not getting the feeling I'm progressing anywhere. Sure a few new rooms open up, but the freshness of what is coming at me goes stale so fast that it's like "Oh... he's just.. stronger... ok..."

Too short D:!!! I finished in about half an hour.

My main problem with this game is the ability to spam. SPAM SPAM SPAM. And then once you get the trinket that lets you pull back almost instantly? More spam. Guys far away shooting you? Spam some aoe! Then spam some more! Shit dies. Makes it too easy imo. Needs a bit of tweaking (mabye a cooldown after a shot?) but very fun ^^

I'd call it a good start.

Honestly, the learning curve almost isn't there. It really needs to have a lot more diversity in it to make it more challenging and dynamic. It looks nice, is fun to play for a bit, but it really isn't something I'd sit here for hours on end mindlessly addicted to :|

man it takes some real gusto to get alchemy to work <_< ; ... that or I'm just failing really hard at it. Went to install, and it kept telling me I was missing stuff, except instead of listing it was one at a time.. "Oh, ur missing this lol" then "Ok, now your missing this :3" -_-;

<3 for the work into the port :D and I know it might be a bit of effort on your part, but there would be much love if you could get the joystick compatibility that was in the original into this version: I loved playing it with sega genesis controller when i had it for PC (It disappeared one day :(

unfortunately, there's no way for Flash to read joysticks. :(
There's a program called joy2key that maps the gamepad to keyboard buttons -- you can use it to play Flash games with a gamepad!

Too Scripted

I remember having fun in the game of life way back when it was programmed on windows 95 and having to figure everything out.

This really looks more like "Hey look, some holes... lets see what happens when you fill them in" and not really a problem solving game.

Mindnumbingly Mindboggling

Very very good game that actually has challenging gameplay. The only downside is it does get very very repetitive and doesn't really give you a sense of advancement.

The only real major glitch was having the tanks spawn on top of you if you were unforunate enough to get cought up in one, causing instant death and game over :(
